- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines multiple selections; all selections must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to each team, expressed in whole or half goals, to eliminate the draw and create a balanced betting option.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside by a bettor for placing bets.
- Bet Slip
- The record that lists your selected bets, chosen odds, and the amount you wish to stake.
- Bookmaker
- The company or entity that sets odds and accepts bets from the public.
- Both Teams to Score
- A bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle your bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet covering two of the three possible outcomes (e.g., home win or draw) in a single wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet on a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, the stake is refunded.
- Edge
- An advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker's odds in a particular wager.
- Goal Line
- The line set by the bookmaker for total goals in a match, similar to a point spread, where you bet over or under.
- Half-time/Full-time
- A bet that requires you to predict the result at both half-time and full-time of the match.
- Line
- The set of odds or point spread offered by a bookmaker for a particular betting market.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is already in progress, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Market
- A specific betting option or category, such as match result, total goals, or player performance.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with odds reflecting each team's chance of winning.
- Odds
- The number that indicates the implied probability of an outcome and determines how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be higher (over) or lower (under) than a set line.
- Public Money
- The portion of bets placed by the majority of bettors, often influencing line movement.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a particular bet.
- Steam
- Rapid movement of odds or line due to heavy betting action, usually indicating sharp money.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered appear higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an expected positive return.
- Vig
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker adds to the odds, reducing the payout for bettors.
